Joan Reinthaler's review (March 25, Style) of Yuliya Gorenman's all-Chopin piano recital at Katzen Arts Center last Saturday still leaves me more than a little puzzled. Although Reinthaler acknowledged Gorenman's indisputable technical virtuosity, her chief critique centered on what she thought was a performance that was, on the whole, "stunningly loud."
